Who We Are

 

We are Place Land, (http://www.placeland.co.uk/index.html) a Devon-based land promoter working with landowners, local communities and local authorities to bring forward new housing proposals in sustainable locations to contribute towards meeting identified housing needs.

 

Why East Allington?

A central policy objective of the Plymouth and South West Devon Adopted Local Plan is to create thriving rural communities, maintaining the viability of Sustainable Villages through the provision of housing and community facilities to meet local needs, whilst protecting environmental and historic assets.

​

The Local Plan requires at least 550 homes to be delivered in Sustainable Villages over the plan period.  It identifies East Allington as a Sustainable Village with an indicative capacity for around 30 new homes to be delivered by 2034.   Any housing built before March 2017 does not count towards this figure.
